Hibberdene Bowling Club is situated in the village of Hibberdene on the south coast of Kwa Zulu Natal about 100km from the city of Durban.
When the club was first established it was situated on the beach front and was officially opened on the 27th March 1965.
In 1975 the then Hibberdene Town Board issued a public tender for the construction of 2 bowling greens and a club house for the village of Hibberdene. However it was not until 1991 - 16 years later, that our present bowling green & clubhouse were built and on the 18th October 1991 the club moved over to the new premises and was officially opened.
"The Friendliest club on the South Coast as the grass is always greener, where the right weight and bias is forever on your side"
